Sports are supposed to be good for kids. In theory, a sport should build strong bodies,
not tear them down. It should promote sportsmanship, self-discipline, and perseverance. Unfortunately, not all sports live up to these ideals. Swimming, however, does quite well.

Teams of swimmers and supporters from Chalfont, Staines, Newport Pagnell and Flitwick descended on Barnet Copthall for the 1st round of the MK Junior League hosted by The of Borough Harrow SC who turned up inlarge supporting numbers. Some of our young swimmers performed a synchronised pool side warm-up routine (!) before entering the pool for the 1 hour warm-up. Clearly they were in good spirits and there was a real buzz in the air as parents and swim fans took to their seats.
